Summary:
The chapter begins with Denji, Nayuta, and Fumiko at an amusement park. Fumiko comments on Denji’s decision to reject the Church of Chainsaw Man and he tells her that he will do what Yoshida says and that he won’t turn into Chainsaw Man again. Fumiko jokes that being a chainsaw man would give him opportunities that a normal person can’t even dream of, but Denji counters that having his responsibilities isn’t that great.
Fumiko then makes a Freudian slip and Denji confronts her about her spying. He tries to brush it off as a simple mistake, but Denji remembers all his past romantic interests that had ulterior and murderous motives.
Fumiko’s expression breaks and she explains that she resents Denji for not being able to save her parents.
