Chainsaw Man has finally brought his anime to life and you could say the show is a success. With just one episode, netizens are obsessed with the series and expectations are high for Studio MAPPA’s show. And while fans wait for the second episode, they got a new look at Makima x Denji thanks to a special poster.
Artwork courtesy of CUT, a Japanese magazine dedicated to all things entertainment. The publication has a feature on Chainsaw Man in its November issue, and you can see that its cover brings Maki Denji closer than ever.
Anime so far
Of course, Denji doesn’t mind getting close to Makima, and the pair will have plenty of time to bond as the first season goes on. After all, Denji was recruited as a demon hunter, and season six showed just how powerful the boy is. After merging with Pochita, Chainsaw Man is as deadly to humans as devils, and Makima knows it.
The first episode focused on Denji’s origins before he became Chainsaw Man, but now the show is set to build the world based in Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga. The second episode will launch this week and its title confirms that Makima is going to bring Denji to Tokyo. The boy is about to tour the Devil Hunter headquarters in town, and of course manga readers know that it won’t be long before Aki is introduced to Denji once the boy arrives.
