Chainsaw Man is currently taking over the world with its debut anime season, and one amazing cosplay has gone viral with fans figuring out how to work a working chainsaw into Denji’s evil form! The first two anime episodes of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s massively popular manga series introduced fans to its complicated protagonist, Denji. Lucky enough to eventually merge with his only friend, a devil he calls Pochita, he now becomes Chainsaw to take down the devils and finally fulfill his dreams of a good life.
At the time of this writing, the anime has yet to throw Denji into his first bloody fight as a full-on chainsaw man that fans have seen in the core of Fujimoto’s manga series, but he has been seen in the opening and other promotional materials. With literal chainsaws slicing through his head and slicing through his body, it’s quite an interesting visual. Now, TikTok artist @strblz has taken it to the next level as he has a Chainsaw Man cosplay with a spinning chainsaw blade. Hopefully it won’t be that painful or dangerous! Check it out:

Chainsaw Man is now going through its debut season this fall and will have 12 episodes for its first order (with a new ending theme accompanying each episode). they promote the series as such: “Denji is a teenage boy living with a chainsaw devil named Pochita. Due to a debt left behind by his father, he lives a life at the bottom and repays his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a pact with Pochita and is revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’ – a man with a devil’s heart.”
Directed by Ryu Nakayama for studio MAPPA, Chainsaw Man features Hiroshi Seko handling the script, Kazutaka Sugiyama providing character designs, and the series’ main cast includes Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, Fairouz Ai as Power, Shiori Izawa as Pochita and many more that will be revealed throughout this currently airing first season.
