Chainsaw Man is now making his way through his debut anime season, and one amazing cosplay helps highlight just how awesome Power is! The anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s massively popular manga series was the most anticipated new anime premiere of the year overall, and it’s hard not to see why when the series released its first few episodes. Things got off to a fast and explosive start with the introduction of some big heavy hitters that manga fans loved, like Power, who would only get scarier as the anime continued.
When Denji joined Special Division 4 of the Public Security Devil Extermination Unit for his future struggles as the titular chainsaw man, he was introduced to two other members of his crew, Aki Hayakawa and Power. While we’ve yet to see Aki in the midst of a new fight, Power herself has already shown off the kinds of “power” she has at her disposal, thanks to her instantly interesting dynamic with Denji. What is Chainsaw Man?
Chainsaw Man is currently the biggest new anime of the season, and will have 12 episodes for its first order (with a new ending theme accompanying each episode). A devil with a chainsaw named Pochita. Due to the debt left behind by his father, he lives a lowly life and repays his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a pact with Pochita and is revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’ – a man with a devil’s heart.
Power is just one of the standout characters fans will meet throughout this new anime series, and he’s far from the only devil or fiend we’ll be seeing either. Things are going to get a lot more brutal and bloody before this is all over, so now is the perfect time to jump in and see what Power and other fan favorites are up to!
