Chainsaw Man is one of the biggest franchises in anime right now, and the first season brings more fans to Tatsuki Fujimoto’s award-winning manga. Of course, the series only recently returned to print because Fujimoto needed to prepare content for the second installment. Comeback met with fans as Asa Mitaka and War Devil play well with Denji. And now two fans are going viral for bringing new clues to life.
As you can see below, Instagram users syu803 and zealxv decided it was time to bring the high school lookalikes to life. Asa Mitaka can be seen on the left in his usual red-eyed uniform, and War Devil joins in on the right.
Who are these newcomers?
Unless Chainsaw Man catches you, you won’t know who these two girls are. After all, Asa only joined the series when the second installment debuted. So no, you won’t see these two in the first season of Chainsaw Man unless you throw in a super sneaky cameo.
As for Asa, the girl is a high school girl who harbors a secret grudge against devils in the world where they are accepted. Her hatred only grows after an incident with one kills Asa, but the war devil keeps the girl alive. By taking Asa as his host, the War Devil begins to share a body with the high school student, and the Devil has one goal in mind. They want to destroy the Chainsaw Man, but first they must discover the vigilante’s true identity.
