Summary:
As Denji and Asa head towards the unknown Devil’s Mouth, Denji tries to get them out of the way, only for the Falling Devil to force them inside, right after she comments that the food shouldn’t have a chance to escape. He asks the Devil how they find the taste of people who were immersed in fear, only for the Devil to cast them, throwing both Asa and Denji out. Crying tears of blood, the falling devil screams at the devil, claiming that she “made food with love” before carrying him out with a burst of energy.
Falling Devil heads away from the wreckage and apologizes to Fami, revealing that the plan to consume Asa was the latter’s idea. Fami orders her to return, causing her to burst into flames and transform into a miniature likeness of her original self. Nayuta’s presence is also revealed, with Fami noting that she was the one who caused the devil to vomit by making the devil believe that humans taste like real crap. Nayuta questions why her sister is targeting Asa and Denji, to which Fami reveals that the prophecy will only lead to the world being overrun by devils. At first, Nayuta seems to agree with the idea, but Fami claims that she wants to save the world in order to keep her favorite foods. Fearing that pizza would cease to exist if the prophecy came true, Nayuta turned to the side.
Fami notes that while the prophecy will fulfill itself no matter what they do, he believes the prophecy might revolve around the War Devil instead. Nayuta points out that she tried to consume Asa just moments ago, to which Fami says that she only did so to starve the War Devil since she is able to control those who feel hunger. He offers an alliance to Nayuta, who quickly denies it as she wants to go to school instead.
